Ray Finals at Suzuki World Cup

Ray Meas represented South Africa at the Suzuki World Cup in Japan from 4-6 June 2011. The tournament was supposed to take place earlier in the year in April, but was postponed due to the devastating tsunami that hit Japan.

Ray did very well at his first FIG World Cup as a Senior, placing 7^th in both the qualifications and the finals in the Individual Men category. This gives Ray a good platform for his goal of placing in the top 10 at World Championships in 2012.

Ray will be competing at the National Championships in July and the Summer Universiade together with Rachel Wood in August. He will also be attending trials for World and African Championships in November. Ray is currently a second year MBCHB student at Stellenbosch University.
