2nd World Gym for Life Challenge
The Flairs Gym for Life Team represented South Africa at the 2nd World Gym for Life Challenge held at the CTICC from 10-14 July 2013. They had the time of their lives and performed a viby routine which welcomed the participants from around the world to Cape Town. The team which incorporated gymnasts from 6 years old, as well as the three coaches were rewarded with a bronze medal for their performance.
Not only did the team take part in the contest, but they also showed off their routine in the Golden Acre Shopping Centre and the SA Evening. They joined teams from Austria and Denmark in performing at Gugulethu Community Centre, where in turn, they were entertained by the community.
Flairs was also represented by Arna Madurasinghe, Olivia Jansen and Coach Terrence in the Opening Ceremony, who held the Flairs flag up high with their performances.
This was an amazing experience for everyone involved and we look forward to taking part in the 3rd World Gym for Life Challenge in Norway in 2017.
