FLAIRS SPEED CHALLENGE – SPONSORED BY Z DENNIS & ASSOCIATES

The inaugural Flairs Speed Challenge sponsored by Z Dennis & Associates was held on Friday 28 June 2013. Fifty three skippers from all around the Western Province attended the event competing to be crowned the King / Queen of Speed for 2013. The afternoon was filled with fun and laughter, as new friendships were formed and each skippers fitness was put to the test. The skippers were judged by the Provinces top judges, and the audience got involved in spurring the competitors as they went through each gruelling challenge. Although a winner was declared in each section, every participant was rewarded with a water bottle and lunch, compliments of the sponsor.

Flairs owners Anne Vermaak and Sadicka Isaacs were overjoyed at the fantastic response to the first Speed Challenge. “The afternoon was so much fun, it was wonderful to see all the new talent in Rope Skipping”. Sadicka Isaacs who is also the Program Manager for Rope Skipping in WP said “This was also a great preparation for all the skippers, especially the first time competitors, in the lead up to their WP Trials in August”. Vermaak and Isaacs said the day could never have been as much of a success without the sponsorship of Z Dennis and Associates. Their whole team came out to support the skippers and serve them their lunch afterwards. We even got the team to skip on the side of the competition area. The afternoon was a true reflection of Flairs’ motto of “fun, fitness & friendship”.
